The America First Party of New York was founded during the First National Convention of The America First Party in Orlando, Florida in August of 2002 by delegates selected from both upstate New York and the various boroughs of New York City. The founding delegates were Mr. James E. Arft of Rochester New York, Ms. Mauren Flannery of Manhattan (New York County), and Mr. Bradley F. Maurer from Queens County.
The AFPNY was incorporated in the state of New York in 2003.

  The America First Party of New York is a fully affiliated State Party Organization (SPO) of The America First Party and is fully in congress with the America First Party's Mission Statement, Principles, and Platform.
